Abu Dhabi is the UAE's capital and its cultural heart — a city of extraordinary ambition, world-class architecture and deep Arabian heritage. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the most beautiful buildings on earth; the Louvre Abu Dhabi is one of the world's great museums.
Less frenetic than Dubai but equally spectacular, Abu Dhabi combines modern grandeur with authentic Emirati culture. The desert, the corniche, the heritage villages and mangrove kayaking add natural beauty to the urban spectacle.
