Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Murchison Falls NP
Morning: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — trek on foot to see Uganda's only wild rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls NP. Afternoon game drive. Overnight lodge.
Murchison Falls — Game Drive & Nile Cruise
Morning game drive — lions, elephants, giraffes and buffalo. Afternoon: Nile boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls — hippos, Nile crocodiles, and the thunderous falls up close.
Murchison to Fort Portal
Scenic drive south to Fort Portal — Uganda's most beautiful town. Stop at the Crater Lakes area. Afternoon: Amabere Caves. Overnight Fort Portal.
Kibale Forest — Chimpanzee Trekking
Morning: chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest — the world's highest density of primates. Afternoon: Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birds and primates. Overnight lodge.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Game drive in QENP — elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob and the famous tree-climbing lions of the Ishasha sector in the south. Evening: Kazinga Channel boat cruise. Overnight lodge.
Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi
Scenic mountain drive through the Bwindi hills to your gorilla lodge. Briefing for tomorrow's trek. Overnight Bwindi.
Gorilla Trekking — Bwindi
This is the day. After breakfast, the gorilla trek begins — a search into the impenetrable forest lasting 1–6 hours. One priceless hour with a mountain gorilla family. Overnight Bwindi.
Lake Bunyonyi & Return
Morning at Lake Bunyonyi — Africa's most scenic lake. Canoe trip, island visit. Afternoon drive back towards Kampala/Entebbe. Farewell dinner. Overnight Kampala.
