Day-by-Day Itinerary
Kampala to Queen Elizabeth NP
Early morning departure from Kampala/Entebbe. Drive south-west to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi sector — lions, elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob. Overnight lodge.
Queen Elizabeth — Kazinga Channel & Ishasha
Morning: Kazinga Channel boat cruise — hippos, crocodiles, elephants drinking at the shore. Afternoon: Ishasha sector — search for the famous tree-climbing lions in the fig trees. Overnight Bwindi area.
Gorilla Trekking — Bwindi
The centrepiece of the safari. After briefing at park HQ, begin the gorilla trek into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. One magical hour with a mountain gorilla family. Return to lodge.
Bwindi to Kampala via Lake Bunyonyi
Morning at Lake Bunyonyi — canoe trip among the 29 islands. Afternoon drive back to Kampala. Farewell dinner.
